Why We Built This

ShareLinkedInX

On one team, we maintained 22 repositories across PHP, Node.js, Python, Scala, React, and Angular, sharing close to 50 environment variables. Every time a shared variable changed, someone had to manually grep through every repo to figure out which ones actually consumed it. That's not a workflow — that's a prayer.

The fix, in one sentence: one change produces one notification, with an explicit per-service approve/reject checklist, and nothing goes live for a service until that service's owner has signed off.

A dropped database column turned out to be the exact same failure mode with worse consequences — so the same one-change/one-notification/one-checklist model was mirrored for database structure, then API contracts, then validation rules. The rest of this series walks through how that promise is actually kept: not just described, but enforced in code, tested by automated suites against a real running system, and recorded in an audit trail you can search.
