Does OneEnv have dev, staging and production environments?
No. A redesign in August 2026 removed environment tiers: each workspace has one flat value per key. If you need separate tiers today, use separate workspaces or distinct key names. That is a workaround, not a built-in feature.
Is OneEnv a secrets manager?
No. It stores values encrypted at rest and masks secrets in the UI, but it has no rotation, dynamic credentials or runtime delivery. It governs the change process and exports configuration for your pipeline.
Does a merged change reach my services automatically?
No. After a merge each affected service gets a notification and must approve it. A service's export keeps serving its last approved value until then.
Does inviting someone send them an email?
No. Invitation creates a pending membership. The person becomes active the first time they log in with that email address, so tell them to do so.
What does it cost?
Every workspace gets the full governance engine free, with no cap on services or members. A Custom option exists for complex architectures and starts as a conversation.
Can I get my data out?
Each service's configuration can be exported, and an Owner or Admin can download a workspace takeout before archiving a workspace. See Export and CI access.
